Synopsis in French

Bilingual anthologies bringing together a fine selection of poems by Fernando Pessoa under his own name and by his most important heteronyms: Alberto Caeiro, Álvaro de Campos and Ricardo Reis. The ideal book for anyone wanting a first way into the poetry of Portugal’s most celebrated poet and one of the world’s greatest poets of the 20th century, serving as a kind of practical guide to the singular Pessoan universe. Reaching readers of Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, English, French and Japanese, the Japanese version is especially significant, as it is the first bilingual anthology of Fernando Pessoa ever published in that language.
